NOTABLE CASES   U.S. v. Agate, et al., 08 CR 76 (E.D.N.Y. 2008) – After U.S. Attorneys attempted to circumvent local rules requiring random assignment of judges, Mr. Corozzo filed a motion on behalf of his client, which was subsequently joined by 37 other defendants, resulting in the reassignment of this case to another judge and the issuance of a new administrative order governing the reassignment of criminal cases in the Eastern District of New York.     U.S. v. St. Bernard, et al., 06 CR 483 (E.D.N.Y. 2006) – Secured full acquittal for client charged with conspiracy to possess and import narcotics.   People v. Mattmuller, (Nassau Co. Ct. 2006) – Obtained acquittal for client after only two hours of jury deliberation on four felony charges alleging hate crimes of assault.   U.S. v. Ianniello, et al., 05 CR 774 (S.D.N.Y. 2005) – Secured full acquittal of client charged with four counts of extortion. Out of 20 co-defendants, client’s was only acquittal in case.   U.S. v. Caruth, et al., 05 CR 419 (E.D.N.Y. 2005) – Secured full acquittal on all charges against client of alleged charges of narcotics possession and conspiracy to possess narcotics and marijuana.   U.S. v. Pizzonia, 05 CR 425 (E.D.N.Y. 2005) – Secured acquittal for client on 2 out of 3 counts; the two counts alleging murder in furtherance of racketeering.   People v. Skinner, et al., Indictment No. 6470/2004 (New York Co. 2004) – Obtained pre-trial dismissal of indictment against client on charges of enterprise corruption in violation of New York State’s OCCA Laws (“Organized Crime Control Act).    U.S. v. Peter Gotti, et al., 02 CR 606 (E.D.N.Y. 2002) – In multi-defendant case, secured acquittal after jury trial for client of 15 counts out of 21 alleged counts.    U.S. v. Albin, et al., 02 CR 139 (E.D.N.Y. 2002) – Secured acquittal on all counts for client charged with racketeering and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.   People v. Vernace, Indictment No. 3739/1998 (Queens Co. 2002) – In remarkable case, which sought to resurrect 17-year old charges against client, client was acquitted of murder charges after jury trial and after first having indictment dismissed pre-trial and then having case reinstated by New York’s highest appellate court, the New York State Court of Appeals.   U.S. v. Downey, et al., 01 CR 1191 (E.D.N.Y. 2002) – Secured acquittal for client on 15 out of 38 charges ranging from racketeering to unlawful labor payments.   U.S. v. Dionisio, et al., 99 CR 589 (E.D.N.Y. 1999) – Secured acquittal on all charges including charges of securities fraud, and conspiracy to commit securities fraud, mail and wire fraud, and money laundering, in multi-defendant case.   U.S. v.
